More than happy to recommend Chris Simpson - I had the extreme good fortune to be coached by Chris as I took on Ironman Cork this year. I'm a busy working mom with three very active kids and a job that requires nights away from home and international travel - and Chris managed week by week to build a training plan that adapted according to how much time I had to train and access to swim/bike or run facilities - and I never felt over-trained. Chris has great knowledge, expertise and passion for getting the best results for his athletes - it was a total pleasure to work with him and to share the sense of achievement getting that Ironman medal. I'm not sure if I'll do another, but if I do, I will certainly want Chris Simpson as my coach! Thanks so much Chris!
I showed this to a patient earlier and they were very surprised at how small the ACL/PCL ligaments are. As Physio’s we forget sometimes that the knowledge we know is alien to our patients , as we ask or expect them to rehab such injuries like ACL/PCL tears , we presume they know the anatomy of the injuries like we do. By educating our patients they can have a better understanding of why we are asking them to do the exercises or strengthening programs and in return we get happy complacent patients who rehab successfully.
Great anatomy video of the knee! 😊👍
